Do I need a credit card to start?
No. POST /signup returns an API key instantly. 1,000 calls/month free. You can also pay per call with x402 (USDC) or L402 (Lightning) with no account at all.
What happens if I exceed my plan's call limit?
On free tier, calls are blocked after 10. On paid plans, overage is billed at the standard per-call rate for each endpoint. No surprise charges.
Can I pay with crypto only?
Yes. x402 accepts USDC on Base per call. L402 accepts Lightning sats per call. No subscription or account required. Just send payment with the API call.
What's the difference between subscriptions and credit packs?
Subscriptions are monthly recurring via Stripe. Credit packs are one-time purchases that don't expire. Both give you API key access. Credit packs are available via iOS in-app purchase and Stripe.
